What We Believe

  1. We believe Jesus Christ is not only the Son of God, but came to earth as God in the flesh.  John 1:1-14
  2. We believe the only way (relationship with God), to the Father is through Jesus Christ.  John 14:6
  3. We believe the only way to enter heaven (eternal life) is through faith in Jesus Christ.  Romans 10:9-11
  4. We believe that the only way to salvation (freedom from eternal judgment) is by God’s grace, through Jesus Christ.  Ephesians 2:8-9
  5. We believe that without faith (opposite of works) it is impossible to please God.  Hebrews 11:6
  6. We believe that faith without works is dead (useless) and that works without faith is dead (useless).  James 2:14-24
  7. We believe that Jesus emptied Himself (stripped Himself) of His Godhead (deity) and humbled Himself as a man on earth.  Philippians 2:6-11
  8. We believe Jesus did nothing on earth (performing countless miracles and healings) as God, but as a man, anointed of the Holy Spirit.  Luke 4:1, 14, John 5:19.
  9. We believe that we (the Body of Christ), His disciples, are all commissioned to heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers (heal diseases) and cast out demons.  Mark 16: 15-20, Matthew 10:1,8, Mark 6:7,12-13, John 14:12-14, 15:7, 15:16, 16:23, 17:18 , Ephesians 4:11-16, Acts 5:12-16, 1st John 4:17, 3:2
  10. We believe that all believers (all those that claim Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord) will do even greater works (miracles, healings, signs and wonders ) than Jesus did.  John 14:12
  11. We believe that we as believers were sent, just like Jesus was sent to the earth, to destroy all the works of the devil and to enforce satan’s defeat.  John 17:18, 1st John 3:8
  12. We believe that our power source to enforce satan’s defeat, is only through the promise of the Father, the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:33
  13. We believe if any person does not possess the Holy Spirit, that they do not belong to Jesus Christ, that they are not truly a child of God.  Romans 8:9, 14 (Amplified)
  14. We believe that relationship with Holy Spirit, and the use of His gifts is what marks the New Testament church (His Children) as His own.  John 16:7, John 14:26, 1st Corinthians 12, 2nd Timothy 3:5
  15. We believe that faith should only be in God’s Word, His logos (the written Word) and His rhema, the living Word, Jesus Christ.  Hebrews 4:12, John 1:1-14

According to John 17:18 just as Jesus was sent to the earth by the Father, we also are sent into the world.  Jesus perfectly represented the Father (John 17:6 ) in the world, demonstrating His outrageous grace and love for mankind, through healing the sick, raising the dead, cleansing the lepers and casting out demons.  Just as Jesus represented the Father, now we are to perfectly represent the Son, by doing exactly what He did.  Jesus was our supreme example of what His Body is to do on this earth, to represent Him. We too are sent to destroy the works of the devil, through intimate relationship with Holy Spirit, by healing the sick, raising the dead, cleansing the lepers and casting out demons. The core truth of the simple message of the gospel is revival, the manifestation of God’s love and power over all the power of the enemy. We are here to enforce satan’s defeat at every turn.
