To further add about why we visit and pray at grave sites, I wanted to make a few comments. The primary reason is just because we so very hungry for more of God. We do not pray to the people in the grave or attempt to talk to the dead in any way. We pray to God, asking for a similar anointing that the person had.
What I have come to realize, is that I already have what they have. We either don’t know what we have, so we ask for it, or we haven’t appropriated what we have already been given. We already have the entire Holy Spirit living inside of us, so we can already do what these God’s generals have already done. We have the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead and if we have appropriated the baptism of the Holy Spirit, we have already been given as a gift, His entire Spirit, and all dunamis, ( dynamite ) power. Now we begin to exercise by faith, what has already been given to us, and it develops , like a muscle, into a strong anointing. The exercising of that faith is to heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the leper and to cast out demons. That IS the gospel of Jesus Christ.
